In a joint effort with Lawrence Berkeley Lab, I designed a reusable silicone mask that incorporates a rechargeable, wire-mesh active filter. I used 3D CAD to design all of the parts, while a separate team developed the rechargeable mesh filter.
For the main body, I also designed a 2-part mold and identified the ideal silicone composition for a comfortable and tight fit. I used 3D printing for the other parts.
